Persona Management
Personas represent the types of people your AI Sales Reps should be reaching out to. They're not static profiles -- as your campaigns run, each persona accumulates market learnings and receives AI-powered suggestions to improve targeting. The Personas page is accessible from Strategy > Personas in your dashboard sidebar.
How Personas Are Organized
Personas are grouped by product. Use the product selector dropdown at the top of the page to switch between products and see the personas associated with each one.
Persona Cards
Each persona includes:
- AI-generated image -- an illustration representing the persona, generated automatically
- Search query -- a natural language description of this persona that can be used directly in the Find People search (e.g., "VP of Product at B2B SaaS companies with 50-500 employees")
- Description -- more detail about who this persona is and why they'd be interested
- Pain Points -- the specific problems this persona faces, shown as a bullet list
- Characteristics -- tags describing this persona's attributes (e.g., "Decision Maker", "Technical", "Budget-Conscious")
Finding People Who Match a Persona
Each persona card has a "Find this persona" button. Clicking it takes you directly to the Find People page with the persona's search query pre-filled, so you can immediately start searching for real prospects who match that profile.
Managing Personas
- Edit -- click the pencil icon to modify any persona's details
- Delete -- remove personas that don't fit your strategy
- Suggest More Personas -- at the bottom of the page, you can ask the AI to generate additional personas. When market intelligence is available from your campaigns, persona generation is enriched by that data -- the AI incorporates learnings from actual campaign replies and call transcripts to suggest more accurate targeting. You'll see a label indicating when personas were "informed by market intelligence."

VP of Product at B2B SaaS companies with 50-500 employees
Product leaders who need to understand user behavior to prioritize the right features and demonstrate product ROI to stakeholders.
Pain Points:
- Can't get real-time visibility into which features users actually use
- Spends hours building manual reports in spreadsheets every week
- Engineering team pushback on adding analytics instrumentation
- Can't tie product changes to business outcomes like retention or revenue
Characteristics:
Head of Growth at Series A-C startups in the US
Growth leaders responsible for activation, engagement, and retention metrics who need to run experiments and measure impact without depending on engineering.
Pain Points:
- Experiment velocity is bottlenecked by engineering capacity
- No single source of truth for growth metrics across teams
- Difficulty attributing growth to specific changes or campaigns
Characteristics:
Founders of early-stage SaaS companies who recently raised seed funding
Technical founders who are building their first product analytics stack and need something they can set up themselves without hiring a data team.
Pain Points:
- No data team and no budget to hire one yet
- Flying blind on user behavior — relying on support tickets to understand usage
- Need to show investors product-market fit metrics

Per-Persona Market Learnings
Each persona card has an expandable "Market Learnings" section that shows how that persona is performing across your campaigns. This data is derived by tracing the chain from personas through found people to campaign recipients and their replies.
Market learnings include:
- Performance tier -- automatically computed as high, medium, low, or insufficient data based on average interest level and reply count
- Key metrics -- total people found, total contacted, total replies, and average interest level
- Sentiment bar -- visual breakdown of positive, neutral, mixed, and negative sentiment with percentage
- Top objections -- the most common objections raised by this persona, with counts
- What resonates -- messaging patterns that generate positive engagement with this persona, with confidence levels
- What falls flat -- patterns that trigger negative responses from this persona
- Persona fit assessment -- an AI-generated evaluation of whether this persona is actually a good fit for your product
- Market signals -- signals and their implications specific to this persona
Click "Refresh insights" to recompute the market learnings with the latest data. Quantitative metrics are refreshed from the database, and qualitative patterns (what resonates, what falls flat, fit assessment) are recomputed by AI.
AI-Powered Persona Suggestions
Market intelligence drives AI-generated suggestions to improve your persona targeting. Suggestions appear as cards above each persona and at the top of the product's persona list.
There are four types of suggestions:
- Refine -- improve an existing persona's name, description, pain points, or characteristics based on what's working. Shows a side-by-side comparison of current vs. suggested values.
- Improve targeting -- tighten the targeting/search query for better prospect matching. Shows the current query alongside the suggested improvement.
- New persona discovered -- identifies entirely new audience segments from patterns in your reply and call data. Shows a full preview of the proposed persona with all fields filled in.
- Consider removing -- flags a consistently underperforming persona for removal. Explains why the persona is underperforming with data citations.
Each suggestion includes:
- Reasoning -- why this change is recommended
- Intelligence highlights -- the data points that triggered the suggestion
- Impact level -- high, medium, or low
- Diff view -- for text fields, a side-by-side diff; for arrays (pain points, characteristics), shows kept, added, and removed items
For each suggestion, you can Accept (applies the change immediately) or Dismiss (removes the suggestion).
Tips
- Review market learnings regularly -- as campaigns run, check how each persona is performing. The performance tiers and fit assessments help you focus on what's working.
- Act on suggestions -- AI-driven suggestions to refine, discover, or deprecate personas are based on real data and can meaningfully improve your targeting.
- Use the "Find this persona" button -- persona search queries are written to work directly with the Find People feature.
- Generate images -- AI-generated persona illustrations make your buyer profiles more visual and memorable.
- Run more campaigns for better intelligence -- the more reply and call data the system has, the richer the market learnings and the more precise the suggestions become.
